Highlights from our year …
Charlie…
From landscaping and creating beautiful areas for us to rest and relax in our backyard to designing and sewing his own clothes - Charlie’s had a year of harnessing his creativity! He is full of passion and it’s exciting to see him channeling it so many ways. In addition, Charlie has become a very successful baker and avid reader - plowing through book after book on his Kindle. He enjoys listening to pod casts from people who inspire him - like Sophia Bush - and seeking to raise greater global awareness on social issues.
Day to day Charlie works from home supporting people and their health plan needs.
Kenny…
Kenny has truly fallen in love with baking and the of joy of connection sharing baked goods can bring. He has even launched a passion project, Joybringer Bakes. Knitting blankets for people, running, and cooking also inspire him and occupy his free time. He was caught in a wee gun fire incident this summer that has brought him back to working with city leaders and various task forces to help ensure people can be safe in our neighborhood. He misses his family but has been able to make day trips up and back to Fargo and visit them with short outdoor chats and gift drops. Kenny works from home supporting people with their behavioral health needs in addition to teaching and coaching artists virtually.
Garfunkel…
Garfunkel brings a great deal of joy to the family…well, he brings joy now. For a while he was a bit thrown off by us working from home every day and started expressing his frustration by peeing on our clothes. That was fun. Now that we’ve opened up areas of the home just for him and his little cuddle blankets peace has been restored.
