Kenny Kiser has worked as a singer, dancer, director, teacher, and aerialist. In Minneapolis he has performed with Theatre de la Jeune Lune, New Breath Productions, Theater Latte Da, The Minnesota Opera, Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, Xelias, The Southern Theater, and The James Sewell Ballet.

For five years he served as Artistic Director for New Breath Productions, a musical theatre learning collaborative he founded to give students of music the opportunity to work side by side with professional artists. In addition to his work with New Breath, he has acted as director and/or music director for other local groups, including The Minnesota OperaVenture, Stage Coach Theatre Arts, SteppingStone and Ramsey International Fine Arts School. A teacher at heart, Kenny has taught private voice and piano lessons for over 12 years, and artists he has taught are performing and/or teaching throughout the country. He has also taught group voice and directed the adult and children's choirs at Macalester Plymouth United Church in St. Paul. Kenny holds degrees in vocal performance and vocal pedagogy as well as postgraduate study in developing the child voice.

Kenny is proud to have been an advocate for the arts as member of the Minneapolis Arts Commission.
