Alison and I began working together in the spring of 2008. She continues to focus on her vocal technique and building confidence as a soloist. Singing serves as a creative outlet and source of personal enjoyment for Alison. In addition to singing at church and family events, Alison also sings for weddings. She has enjoyed her progress at the Studio thus far. Alison works as an event coordinator, and she and her husband Steve are expecting their first child early next year.

Song: The Winner Takes it All by Benny Ulvaeus
Julie and I began working together in September of 2008. Julie relocated to the Twin Cities recently from Orlando, FL where she worked in the hospitality industry. She feels that she has found a new home in the Minneapolis area and is excited to have rediscovered her love of singing as part of the move.
Julie’s work with The Studio has marked her return to singing after a three year absence. While in high school and college she performed in several shows with favorites being You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Oklahoma!, and My Fair Lady.
Julie enjoys working in the relaxed and nurturing environment at The Studio and she feels her lessons have allowed her to refine her technique, rebuild her repertoire, and reconnect with her vocal ability.

Song: I Know The Truth by Elton John/Tim Rice
Erin and I began to work together in the fall of 2005. After having been away from singing for about 10 years, Erin found herself in a place where she could invest the time and money to be focused on her training. For Erin, singing and studying voice has become a wonderful outlet. It is a mixture of mental and spiritual exercise. Over the past two years Erin has grown tremendously as a singer. She continues to study because she feels great pride in her growth and she wants singing to always be part of her life.

Song: Over the Rainbow by Harold Arlen
Abby and I began working together early last summer and it has been wonderful to have her in The Studio.
Prior to her vocal studies here, Abby had a five year leave from singing – with her last real focused study being part of her college experience at Syracuse University - where she earned a minor in Theater.
Abby serves as a State Program Manager for Citizenship, Leadership, and the Expressive Arts for 4H. She enjoys the nurturing environment of The Studio – both in her private lessons and in voice lab.

Song: Red River Valley (Traditional)
Garseng is 17 years old and is a senior in high school. He sings in his various high school choirs and in his school's spring musical. He has developed a strong passion for singing ever since he started in his freshman year; not only is it an enjoyable way to spend his time, it is also a wonderful stress reliever. He studies with the Studio in hopes of improving his technique and making his voice more versatile. In addition to singing, Garseng plays the clarinet and piano, and is currently learning how to play the trombone.
